Agency Selection

Steps in the GBS Agency Selection Process

1
Request for Information (RFI) optimized
We scan the market for best-in-class vendors so you get an up-to-date understanding of all the available capabilities and methodologies.
2
Brief
We produce the brief after collecting stakeholder input and taking an immersive look at the relevant business questions. From there, we circulate to the agencies best suited to deliver against the particulars of your brief.
3
Review
Working alongside your procurement team, we ensure objectivity throughout the review process as written submissions are received, reviewed and shared with relevant stakeholders using a grid to assess key elements from the brief. And we act as a sounding board for you if/when you want to discuss a submission.
4
Questions
We capture feedback and questions from the responding agencies’ proposals and coordinate sharing constructive feedback to the chosen vendors.
5
Pitches
We manage the logistics, from securing the dates and locations to inviting the stakeholders. And we get answers to any follow-up questions you may have for presenting agencies. This includes collecting and collating stakeholder input from pitches, scoring vendors for ease of comparison, including for technology platform demonstrations.
6
Due Diligence
We call the provided references and dig up more if necessary. Using a discussion guide, we get explicit feedback to help assess submissions and strengths/weaknesses of each vendor.
7
Selection
After reviewing each shortlisted proposal with you, we’ll share our final recommendations. Once you’ve made your choice, we’ll let the successful applicant know, manage the contract negotiations, ensure stakeholders requirements are included and create a move-forward plan for the selected agency. We’ll also let the unsuccessful candidates know why they were unsuccessful.
